Lots of pictures...one word needed...SNOW!

Well, the first couple aren't of snow, but I needed to get them up here anyway.

We made brownies one night and Greg introduced Max and Nora to the joy of brownie batter.

Yum! (I don't personally think it's that great, but the kids agreed with their dad.)

Our high tech kids with their computers

"Max, now how do you get yours to play music?"

Ok, on to the blizzard pictures! On Monday Greg had brought some work home so he could work from home during the snow storm. He went to work for half of the day on Tuesday, and on Wednesday we were officially snowed in. We started the day out by having some awesome French toast and bacon for breakfast, made by my talented hubby. He worked off and on throughout the day, taking breaks to go outside and explore in the blizzard, sometimes with Max or Nora.

Ready to brave the storm! It was still snowing and pretty windy at this point, hence the sunglasses.

Taken from the warmth and safety of our bedroom! I think Greg looks quite cold.

Our little snow lover...I don't know if she ever wanted to come in.

This....is our driveway.

Kia, the snow queen, reveled in the weather.

Surveying her realm (also another shot of the driveway)

Greg's first snow cave he made (the one outside our bedroom window)

The backyard

Front of the house

End of the driveway after the snowplows finally made it through (they were stuck at the end of our lane for about an hour)
Our mailbox, covered in snow from the plows

Pretty snow

Greg dug another, deeper snow cave and we brought both kids outside to play in it. What follows are lots of pictures of our cute kids. It was too hard to choose the best pictures.

Kia wanted to play, too.

Greg took these pictures of Max. Max was giving him all kinds of funny faces and fake smiles, until Kia climbed up on top of the snow cave and started raining snow down onto Greg. I think you'll be able to tell which pictures were taken after that happened!

Some more love from Kia.

This is about as good as it got when Greg tried to get a picture of both kids.

Cheese!
Greg's dad came Wednesday afternoon with the tractor and dug out our driveway, so Greg was able to go back to the office on Thursday, which is good since he was running out of work! Part of our road STILL wasn't plowed out until Thursday or Friday, but we could get out, which is what's important. All in all, we survived the 'Blizzard of 2011' and had a fun couple of snow days!
