When we got there, Sheila took Max down the hill on the sled and he, of course, loved it! By the time they were back up the hill I had Nora outside, so Sheila took them both down.

Here they come!

Whew! Tired A. Sheila! :)

Since they had gone down a few times (and Sheila had hauled them back up a few times), I told Max we should play in the snow at the bottom of the hill for a while. He said he wanted to make a snowman, so we decided to try it. The snow was absolutely PERFECT! Sheila and I were laughing about the fact that we were way more excited about this snowman than Max was! He kept trying to find sticks to play with. Go figure.
To his credit, Max did try to help. He'd get a handful of snow and try to stick it on the snowman somewhere. It was pretty cute.
Meanwhile, Nora was so bundled up that she couldn't walk in the snow, so after she got frustrated from falling down a few times, I just set her in the sled with a big snowball to eat off of. She loved it and just watched as we made the snowmen. Worked great! :)
Max and Nora with the snowman. On the side, you can see Sheila, who was working on our second one. I wanted to make a 'baby' snowman that was Max's size.
Nate and Steph were on their babymoon, and his parents Kent and Mem were watching Elena. While we were outside, they came back from a Starbucks run and E decided she wanted to play in the snow for a little bit. Sheila won the Aunt of the Year award that day, as she took all 3 kids down on the sled...and pulled them all back up the hill!!! Twice!!! This pregnant woman couldn't even make it up the hill by myself one time without stopping for breath. Sheila definitely got a workout!
