Happy Birthday to the cutest little 3 year old around...
He was so excited he had to sing along with everybody else!
Daddy and Max had a fun day out on Friday at the Children's Museaum in Bloomington...followed by lunch at Windy City Weiners and ice cream at Carl's!
Daddy is thinking that Mommy has some pretty sweet cake decorating skills! Max was pretty impressed too!
3 years old...my how the time flies when you are having fun!
Had to include a picture of Max eat his birthday grass...when Mary asked him what he wanted for his birthday supper he asked for Hot Dogs, Bananas, and Grass...he found out that grass isn't all its cracked up to be!

It was a very cute monkey cake for a sweet little monkey. Can't believe Max is already 3 years old. It was so cute to hear him singing Happy Birthday to himself. Love, Grandma B.
Hearing Max sing Happy Birthday to himself was probably the highlight of the night!!! That's hysterical that he wanted grass for his birthday supper!! :) What a funny guy!

Happy Birthday Max! I agree with Laura, Mary - what a great MOM - that cake is impressive, and with a newborn, wow! Whatever convinced Max that he wanted grass?? Loved the post. Precious pictures, precious little boy.

Laura and Ruth--
It was actually easier to make the cake with a 1 week old than if she was older...Greg was home and rocked her to sleep while I decorated the cake! (Max and Nora were both napping.) :) And Ruth, Max told me he wanted grass because he was 'a panda bear.'
