On Sunday December 18th, we had my Grandma Rassi's Christmas in the community room of the nursing home where she lives. As usual, it was a little close quarters and very lively! I think the only pictures we have are from the annual Nativity play, which is always a big hit. My mom has collected outfits and props over the last 7ish years as there are always more kids who want to participate! This year, my dad narrated while Mom, Laurie, and I directed the kids.

Nora, our very reluctant angel...she said she wanted to be an angel, but changed her mind when she actually had to walk in front of people. She didn't want her halo, either, which worked out fine since Max wanted it.

We had a lot of angels in this performance! Note Max...he only has the halo because Nora still wanted her angel gown, even though she wouldn't come out. Here the angels are telling the shepherds the good news!

Destini and Grandma
Later that week, we had Brett and Laura and Rustin and Sharon over for supper since Brett and Laura were home from Kansas City. It was also a pretty lively group! Between us three couples, we have 7 kids ages 4 and under!

...it's opened up to the kids! They got quite a bit off of it!
Brett and Laura stayed for a little bit after Rustin and Sharon went home. It wasn't long before Max and Bryce were wrestling, their dads egging them on from the sidelines.
