Steph's birthday was last Saturday, and her birthday request was to decorate cookies with her family. As it turns out, it was an awesome idea and made for a super fun morning...good going, Steph! :)

These three might have been a little excited! I love that they all have several sugar containers...ready to decorate!

Steph, Melissa, and I frosted cookies while Katy, Sheila, and Greg helped the kids decorate (and Greg took pictures).
Now, especially given my last post about the princess cake, wouldn't you expect Nora and Elena to be fighting over the pink and purple sprinkles? Instead, look who used the most pink:

The big M!

Meanwhile, Elena used up most of the yellow (can't see it in this picture, but it had very large sprinkling holes and she covered her plate),

"Look at our hands!"
After decorating, Greg took the kids outside to run down the big hill. Sheila's friend Farrah was coming with her boys and we wanted to keep some cookies for them to decorate!

isn't she one of the most beautiful babies ever?!?
Once all of the cookies were decorated, everyone gathered at the cabin for Steph's birthday lunch. Dad and Mom had made Swedish meatballs at her request, and they were SOOO good! Her dessert was a chocolate trifle, also yummy!

And in this one, she's tickling him because he blew out all but one or two of them before she could do it!
