That is my goal this afternoon, anyway! Other than my posts about Nora's birthday, I haven't covered our goings-on in August at all, hardly! So here we go....
One of the first Fridays this month, we took a trip to the Glen Oak Zoo with Janelle, Londyn, and Ashley. We didn't get too many pictures, and it was pretty hot! The kids had a fun morning, though.

The best animal pictures we got were of this pretty dragonfly perched in the African exhibit. :)

The next day, Saturday, Grandpa and Grandma Beutel hosted a Beutel family get-together at the cabin.

That night, several brave souls 'camped out' at the cabin. Greg, Max, Sheila, Katy, Nate, and Elena all slept there....Sheila and Katy got the pull-out couch, Greg and Max slept on the bed up in the loft, and Nate and Elena set up a tent in the middle of the floor! I took the girls home and we slept great. :)
