From June to August the City (Village?) of Morton puts on what it titles "Arts in the Park" on Thursday nights. They feature a variety of music...some weeks we're interested (think bluegrass, orchestras, gospel) and some weeks not so much (think loud rock n roll). Anyway...this week was the Glen Miller Swing Band...we gave it a shot...and as usual between our kids and us, we brought the average age down about 30 years! That didn't keep us from busting a few dance moves (while safely hidden in the back of the crowd)! One of our favorite things to watch at these concerts are the few older couples that actually get up and dance! Some of them are really quite talented! Us on the other hand...well...you be the judge!
