My brave brother John slept in this tent with 7 children ages 10 and under.

This was Nora pretty much all evening. She did great!
Jason and Ellie are in a family band called Front Porch Bluegrass with her dad, mom, and older brother. They came Friday night to the campout and gave us a performance. We loved it!
"What a Friend We Have in Jesus"...note that the only crazy child bouncing on the couch happens to be ours...everyone else is sitting nicely and listening.
There was no rain this year to bother the campers, but the dew was so heavy it might as well have been raining...Greg had to put a sleeping bag over the pop-up camper so he wouldn't hear the water dripping off the trees and at least Elisabeth ended up sleeping inside because she got wet in the tent. The kids were all up bright and early, though, rarin' to go (except Elisabeth).

Cooking breakfast over the fire...bacon and scrambled eggs! Mom fried donuts this year, too...oh, yum!
Saturday mid-morning, Greg left to go see Tim's barbershop quartet compete at District. They placed 2nd overall (Great job, guys!). To see a video of their performance, go to http://www.ahquartet.com/. The rest of us at the campout had lunch and celebrated birthdays. It did rain after lunch, but we were prepared...there were plenty of umbrellas to go around!
Last thing here is a video of Jason playing some football with the Keever kids before they left...I think Jack was in there 'playing,' too. :)
We had a fun weekend! Can't wait for next year's! :)

If I ever wondered if Max was related to me, that video of him dancing on the couch confirmed it!!!
